Lake Eyasi

Drive across the Rift Valley and up the escarpment to Lake Eyasi, where you spend the day exploring on foot. This dry and rugged landscape is inhabited by a small group of Bushmen who still live in small nomadic groups hunting with bow and arrow and gathering roots, tubers and wild fruits. Be prepared for an extraordinary cross-cultural experience as you join these nomadic Bushmen hunting, preparing food and living their daily life. You may also see the Datoga, a pastoral tribe that migrated to the area about 150 years ago. Another interesting tribe are the Hadzabe, a pygmy
tribe.
