Ruma National Park
This park, formerly called Lambwe Valley National Reserve, was established in 1966 but remote place and not provide a constant source revenues slow development. By the change to National Park there are trails designed to explore the wild and park maintenance is generally realized. It's a good place for the roan antelope and Jackson's hartebeest to see a larger and redder counterpart of Coke's antelope often occurs in the Kenyan parks. The Oribi, one of the smallest antelope species, are also seen. Of the predators is called the Lion and Cheetah. This is a wonderful park for the frequent visitor or someone look up the silence on the safari. There is no accommodation closer than the Homa Bay about 34 km. the nearest park entrance.
